Here is the last and most important slide:
1. Where to start? The study partner
A. Pick someone in the same class subject who will help keep you accountable to studying. Set up a practice schedule with them
2. What’s next? The formulas
A. Find out what formulas will FOR SURE be given to you on the test and which ones will not. Any formulas not guaranteed to be given should be put onto 3x5 cards or on Quizlet cards
3. And then? Practice problems
A. Search for worksheets, watch YouTube videos, and use websites like Khan Academy and Paul’s Online Math Notes to help find problems to solve (make sure the answers are given)
B. Practice 6 days a week, an hour a day Pull up your practice problems from step 3 and your note cards (paper or online) from step 2 Work on the practice problems, and try to remember the formulas at first, but if you can’t then pull up the formula sheet and go from there.
