  This video is part of a series on worksheets for Algebra 1. Many teachers like to assign Kuta worksheets, because they are easily accessible and have the answers included- so in these videos I explain not just the answers, but how to do each problem step by step, and sometimes using several different methods so you can find a way that suits how you learn.

  This video is essentially a video on PEMDAS, but in order to use PEMDAS to it's fullest, we have to alter it and add some stuff... For just the purposes of this video, we alter PEMDAS (parenthesis, exponents, multiplying, dividing, adding, and subtracting) bit by bit until we get GRPFDMAS (grouping, roots, powers, flips, dividing, multiplying, adding, and subtracting)

   Altering PEMDAS is helpful because we are basically just simplifying an expression, and any time we want to simplify, PEMDAS (or a beefed up version of it) will be involved.
